Flamingo Park is one of the most sought after historical neighborhoods in West Palm Beach. The neighborhood became a West Palm Beach historic district in January 1993 and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

There are around 500 homes within the subdivision, with architecturally significant homes built in Mission and Mediterranean Revival and Frame Vernacular styles. It is this architecture, combined with Flamingo Park’s proximity to area attractions, as well as the fact that is sits on the highest coastal ridge from downtown West Palm Beach to Miami, that makes this area so desirable.

When the area was built out in the early to mid-1920s, it was home to many of the most prominent citizens of the time. Flamingo Park is situated between Grandview Heights to the north and Sunshine Park to the South. The Armory Arts Center and Howard Park sit on the northeast edge of the neighborhood. Sitting just south of Okeechobee Boulevard, it is a short distance to Rosemary Square, downtown West Palm Beach, and the pristine waters of the Atlantic Ocean in nearby Palm Beach.
